For administrators

Set up your district or school account

As an administrator, your role is to monitor how practice is taking hold across your schools. You do not have to build out your district: we set up your account and your schools for you before you ever sign in. This page walks through confirming that everything came through correctly, then inviting the educators and administrators who are new to Inner Explorer, which is the one part that is yours.

Accept your invitation

Your Inner Explorer partner sends an invitation to the email you provided. Select Accept invitation, create your password or sign in with single sign-on, and you’ll land on your district dashboard.

Set up your profile

Confirm your district or organization name and time zone. These details shape how your reports are labeled and how engagement dates are calculated, so it’s worth getting them right at the start.

Check your schools

Your schools are populated for you. Open the Admin tab and confirm that every school in your district is listed, so adoption can be tracked per site.

If a school is missing, or anything is listed incorrectly, reach out to your Inner Explorer partner and we’ll correct it. There is nothing for you to add or edit here.

Invite new educators and administrators

You can either invite your staff yourself, or provide your regional director with your admin and educators and we will invite the staff for you.

Invite any educator or school administrator who is new to Inner Explorer by email with the custom generated link under the Admin tab, or let them sign in through single sign-on.

Assign each person a role so they see the right experience: educators get classrooms, school administrators get the dashboard. You can also add new school administrators and educators individually under the Admin tab by following the instructional video below.

Inviting a school administrator: select Invite Users under the Admin tab, enter their name and email, pick their role, then select Send invitation.

District administrators invite school administrators, and both can invite educators. See Who invites whom.
